“Ask your florist to mix high and low end florals, so you have a pop of flowers you love but remain cost conscious for the majority of your selections,” adds Coyne. “Additionally, it’s important to trust your florist and give them the freedom to use seasonal flowers and greenery (and substitute as needed) based on what may be available for a lower cost at the flower market that week.”
The most traditional centerpiece is the floral arrangement. The cost of centerpieces varies greatly. A simple DIY wedding centerpiece may only cost $10 to $20, while more elaborate floral displays may cost more than $200. Centerpieces with exotic flowers can cost up to $300 each.
The bigger your table, the bigger you'll want your centerpiece. Just be sure that your arrangement is also circular or square so it doesn't look out of place or compete with your place settings. On average, wedding decorations can range from $2,000 to $10,000. This average decor budget can include flowers, centerpieces, ceremony decor, and more.

Instead of trying to decorate every corner of your venue, focus on key areas with the most impact. Create a stunning focal point with a statement backdrop. Choose elegant floral arrangements or beautiful crystal centerpieces to add to your wedding. These small decor pieces are key to elevating your event space.
For rectangular tables, consider spacing out one centerpiece every 3 to 4 feet. So a four-foot table would have one centerpiece in the center, and an eight-foot table would have two centerpieces spaced equally apart.
What do glass bottles (yes, even wine bottles!), mason jars, and tins all have in common? They make for affordable do-it-yourself table decorations for a wedding! Whether you paint them, combine them, fill them with flowers or colored sand, or leave them rustically bare, the possibilities are endless.
At a minimum, each table will need a centrepiece and table name or number, and each place setting will have a place card, wedding favour, napkin, and some additional flourishes, such as a spring of rosemary on top of your menu.
TABLE ARRANGEMENT. Round tables are an excellent choice for larger weddings. They generally provide a more formal feel to the space and are much more space efficient than rectangles. In addition, they can help create more of an organic flow through the space and ensure that no ones feels “stuck in the corner”.

Any shape container works, but be sure not to choose anything too large if your tables are narrow. Think multiple small bud vases, mason jars or horizontal boxes, just be sure to have enough containers to fill your table. One of our favorite options for super narrow farmhouse tables are garlands.
Horizontals make excellent centerpiece arrangements. Opposite of the vertical arrangement, this one is designed to be low and extend out, they may also make use of evergreens and fern to showcase the flowers.
A good centerpiece is pleasing to the eye, doesn't block a guest's view, and is cohesive with the party's theme. If using flowers, make sure they are fresh and properly trimmed. For any centerpiece, be sure it is appropriately scaled for the size of the table.
