The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) takes place Thursday, September 30 through Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Schedule

The official 2021 WSOP schedule was released on June 15. There will be a total of 88 bracelet events at the 2021 WSOP.

The opening weekend features Event #3: Covid-19 Relief NLH Charity Event, a special charity event to benefit frontline health workers as well as Event #2: $25,000 H.O.R.S.E.

However, all eyes will be on 'The Reunion' which has a lofty $5,000,000 guarantee and comes with just a $500 buy-in. Will the WSOP kick off with a bang? Could it be bigger than the 28,371 the Big 50 attracted at the 2019 World Series of Poker, won by Femi Fashakin for $1.4 million.

How to Enter the 2021 WSOP

Online and in-person registration for all 2021 World Series of Poker WSOP) events open in August.

Register In-Person

The WSOP Main Cage will be situated in the Tropical Ballroom, located near the back end of the Rio Convention Center. Caesars have announced that more stations have been added to both the main registration cage and the VIP cage.

Players will be able to register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from Thursday, Sept. 30 at 9:00 a.m. all the way until Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Players will need to bring a valid photo ID and your Caesars Rewards Loyalty card in order to register. International players are required to bring an additional form of identification that shows residential address, such as a signed lease agreement, a utility bill or a mobile phone bill.

*Participants using credit/debit cards must have a valid ID that matches the cardholder name present on the credit card used for the transaction.

Register Online

Players will once again be able to use Bravo Poker Live to register for WSOP bracelet events online. In order to register online, players will need to visit the Belize Ballroom at the Rio Convention Center and have their identification validated.

Once verified, players can simply pick event(s) online via Bravo, utilize the self-service kiosks located throughout the Rio Convention Center to print their seat cards, and go directly to their table.

The WSOP will announce to the public when registration opens in August.

How to Enter the 2021 WSOP Main Event

The 2021 WSOP Main Event features four starting flights from Thursday, November 4 through Wednesday, November 7. The buy-in is $10,000, with plenty of satellites and qualifying events available both live at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and online at GGPoker and WSOP.com.

When is the 2021 WSOP Seniors Championship?

The 2021 WSOP Seniors Championship gets underway on Wednesday, October 27. For the first time, the tournament will feature two starting flights on October 27 and 28.

  • Wednesday, October 27: $1,000 Seniors Championship Flight A
  • Thursday, October 28: $1,000 Seniors Championship Flight B
  • Friday, October 29: $1,000 Seniors Championship Day 2
  • Saturday, October 30: $1,000 Seniors Championship Day 3
  • Sunday, October 31: $1,000 Seniors Championship Day 4
  • Monday, November 1: $1,000 Seniors Championship Day 5

The fields combine on Friday, October 29 and eventually play to a winner on Monday, November 1.

When is the 2021 WSOP Colossus Event?

The 2021 Colossus features two starting flights on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30. Costing just $400 to enter, players are allowed one re-entry per flight.

The Colossus is the lowest buy-in event of the 2021 World Series of Poker.

  • Sunday, October 31: $400 Colossus Day 2
  • Monday, November 1: $400 Colossus Day 3

2021 World Series of Poker Hotels

All Caesars Entertainment resorts in Las Vegas, including the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino will offer reduced hotel room rates for entrants of WSOP bracelet events using the special advanced booking code “WSOPM” when they book early.

The Rio offers players rates on select dates as low as $47. Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Paris Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas and The Linq Hotel + Experience will also provide discounted WSOP player rates. Rates are based on availability and are subject to change.

2021 World Series of Poker Taxes

Tax forms will be completed for those with winnings in excess of $5,000 net of event buy-in. Players without a Tax Identification Number and foreign players from non-tax treaty countries are subject to up to 30 percent tax withholding.
